Seeds Cafe - Queenstown

Seeds Cafe So, after having settled during the week, got myself familar with transport, the heat, the codo gym and swimming pool... I've decided (while I have the opportunity), to start exploring some of the glorious local delights that my surrounding area has to offer. Queenstown is a bit of an odd neighbourhood, a quick google search will review that the most famous thing about the area is the Ikea (which to be honest, for someone moving into a brand new condo with ZERO white goods etc, a 10 min walk to Ikea is a life saver!).  Aside from that, the skyline is dominated by side by side condos and HBDs (Queens, Commonwealth, Queens Peak, Skyville etc),  unlike Tiong Bahru, where you are thrown straight into the Plaza and its numerous F&B outlets.  However, another google search reveals that while there may not be a heady concentration of F&B outlets, there are plenty on offer, both local, international and everything else in between. So... when are you flying?

It's finally happening.  The end is near.  Despite all the crazy things that have gone on during the first half of 2020, we're about to spice things up even more and take a massive leap into the unknown. Yup... we're heading to Singapore...!! The last few months have been an absolutely blur to be honest - having found out about the move in February, we've had an uneasy last quarter, while the world has shut down dur to COVID-19, we've been waiting for everything to restart again, so we can find a place to live, get our visas, go job hunting and get a date to fly out.  But although Singapore going through 'Phase 2' of opening up, with potentially 3 weeks before we're due to fly out... we know NOTHING.  No place to live, no visa, no job (for me at least, and i'm not really complaining that much)... BUT DESPITE THAT... We're really really excited as you can imagine,  and I think we're ready for a new challenge and adventure.  Ever since Ellie wa
